CCWC SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESPONSE TEAM
CAMDEN —Camden County Women’s Center, a non-profit agency that provides services and shelter to victims of domestic violence, is seeking volunteers to join the Domestic Violence Response Team (DVRT).
DVRT members are trained volunteer advocates who are available to meet confidentially with victims of domestic violence at police headquarters. The volunteer advocates work in conjunction with the police to provide support, information and referrals to victims of domestic violence.
40-hour domestic violence training class is slated to begin in Fall 2015. Interested applicants will need to submit to a background check, and can apply at: www.camdencountywomenscenter.org under the DVRT tab.
