The Hightstown Borough Office of Emergency Management has set up a cooling station for those without air conditioning at the Fire Department. The station will be open from 8:00am to 7:00pm in the upper level hall of the Firehouse, 140 Main Street. Electrical outlets and a restroom are available; there are no other facilities available at this location.
The elderly are especially susceptible to heat stroke, if you have an elderly neighbor who may not know of the availability please let them know.
