Traffic Alert – 210 freeway – San Dimas / La Verne
The California Highway Patrol and Cal Trans are working to clear the aftermath of a major collision from earlier this morning on the 210 freeway near Foothill Boulevard. A westbound tractor-trailer rig struck the center divider and caught fire. We’re told there is only one lane open on the westbound 210 freeway at this time, and 2 lanes open eastbound. Also, a motorcyclist went down in the left lanes of the westbound 210 freeway in the traffic backup, and emergency crews are responding. Please plan alternate routes, such as the 10 freeway. Residents and businesses in La Verne and San Dimas will experience a high volume of traffic this morning until the accident clears.
