Alfredo Ferreria was arrested after he fled from the scene of a motor vehicle accident.
The accident occurred in the area of Hwy 33 and Valeria Street in the City of Dos Palos. The vehicle being driven by Ferreria collided with another vehicle causing temporary entrapment of the other driver.
Ferreria then fled the scene. Ferreria was located at a local motel thanks to community members assistance. Ferreria refused to come of the motel room located in the 2300 block of Blossom Street. Officers who were assisted by allied agency, eventually gained access to the room and Ferreria was taken into custody.
Ferreria was arrested for DUI, hit and run with injury, as well as other related charges.
The victim did not appear to have life threatening injuries.
