On August 6, 2015, a male entered the Sweet Hut Thai Restaurant located at 1215 S. Glendora Avenue, West Covina at about 1015 hours before it was open for business. The male suspect went directly into the restroom. When the victim knocked on the door, he told the suspect the restaurant was not yet open for business. The suspect exited the restroom holding a handgun which was pointed directly at the victim. The suspect threatened to kill the victim who then backed away. The suspect exited the store and entered a newer model black or dark blue sedan similar to a BMW and was last seen driving away southbound on Glendora Avenue.
Suspect is described as a Male Asian, 20-30 years old, height between 5’5-5’10, weighing 150-180 lbs, black hair, dark eyes, clean shaven. He was wearing a white v-neck shirt with black horizontal stripes, blue jeans and black and white converse type shoes.
Photos of the suspect were obtained from a neighboring business where the suspect had entered prior to the assault.
