Full Notification

The railroad crossing on the south end of Hoisington on US-281 is scheduled to be replaced beginning on Monday, August 10th. As a result of these much-needed improvements, traffic will be rerouted until the project is completed. The full-depth replacement is expected to take the entire week.

The detour will take travelers west onto Vine Street between Broadway Avenue and Keystone Road (NW 100 Rd). Large trucks and wide loads have been advised to stay clear of the route.

Please be patient as this project unfolds. The temporary inconvenience should yield a safer and smoother entrance to our community.
