Summer Heat = Vehicle Break Ins! 
The Department of Public Safety had received a couple of reports for items taken from motor vehicles over the weekend. We would like to take a moment and remind everyone to take an extra minute to make sure your vehicles are locked and valuable items are secured. Taking all items of value with you when you leave your vehicle is always the best practice. However if you have to leave items of value in your vehicle make sure they are placed out of sight. This will assist in making your vehicle less desirable to would be thieves.
Please take time to remind your friends and family members as well. With your help we can lessen the number of possible victims by simply taking the opportunity out of the equation.
