Trooper Returns to Work after Serving Fourth Combat Tour
Peru – Recently, Indiana State Police Trooper Greg Moolenaar returned to work patrolling the roads of Miami County. He just completed a nine month long combat tour, in southwest Asia, while assigned to the 405th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron. Moolenaar is member of the 434th Air Refueling Wing stationed out of Grissom Air Reserve Base, Bunker Hill, IN.
During the deployment, Moolenaar worked as a security police officer. He provided security and patrolled a forward operating base.
Moolenaar has served 19 years with the United States Air Force Reserve. He currently holds the rank of tech sergeant. This was his fourth combat tour.
Trooper Moolenaar is an eight year veteran of the Indiana State Police. He resides in Cass County with his wife, Amber, and their three children.
