Pocatello Fire Department Report for Tuesday August 18, 2015 
The department responded to 23 calls for service yesterday including calls for emergency medical services, alarm activations, public assist at a residence due to the smell of gas, and a motor vehicle accident.
A Red Flag Warning was issued yesterday. A Red Flag Warning means high fire danger with increased probability of a quickly spreading vegetation fire. Due to the increased risk, extra firefighters were called in to staff a brush truck to be ready to respond rapidly should a wildfire start.
