During the early morning hours on Wednesday (08/19/15), Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a Wal-mart located in northern Springfield where they contacted a male who advised he had been involved in an incident after corresponding with a female on Craigslist. They first met at a location in Springfield; then both parties drove separately to the area of the 7400 block of West Farm Road 144.

The victim stated two males exited from the female's vehicle, one of them pointing a handgun at him and demanded money. Gunshots were exchanged and there have been no reported injuries at this time.

Greene County Sheriff's Detectives are still investigating this incident. They are searching for a dark silver/metallic color small 4-door passenger car. The suspects involved in this case are described as:
- a white female in her late 20s, approximately 5 ft 8 in, 130-150 lbs with shoulder length brown hair.
- two unknown race males, no further description.
