Due to the wildland fire up Twisp River Road and the changing winds District 6 is requiring Level 3 evacuation in the Town of Twisp. 
Immediate evacuation of the Town of Twisp is now in effect with a Level 3 Evacuation notice require Fire District 6. The wildland fire that started about 6 miles up Twisp River Road earlier today is gaining momentum with changing winds. This is not a precautionary warning, The only exit route opened at this time is Hwy 20 South (towards Carlton)
Instructions:
Level 3 is a required evacuation notice. Hwy 20 toward Winthrop is closed.
