50-yr old man charged after assaulting another man w/a baseball bat 
On Tuesday (08/18/15) at approximately 9:30 p.m., Greene County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a home in the 6400 block of East Farm Road 94 where they located a 56-year old male who had been assaulted with a baseball bat. A 47-year old female stated her ex-boyfriend, identified as 50-year old SCOTT I MARTIN, confronted the couple at her residence where there was a verbal disturbance which quickly escalated.
The Greene County Prosecuting Attorney's Office has charged Martin with:
- one Felony count of Assault in the 2nd Degree
(warrant #1531-CR05285, bond amount $20,000.00)
The victim who had been assaulted was transported to a local hospital where he is in stable condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
