Please be advised that an Underground Contractor has struck a Water Main on Haggerty Road south of Plymouth Road. The damage caused the emergency closure of ALL TRAFFIC on SOUTHBOUND HAGGERTY FROM PLYMOUTH ROAD TO HINES DRIVE.
City of Plymouth Municipal Services crews are currently on site to begin to make repairs caused by the private contractor. It is anticipated that repairs will take several hours to complete and Southbound Haggerty from Plymouth Road to Hines Drive is NOT expected to open until sometime this evening.
City of Plymouth Municipal Services has been able to isolate the water main break to limit water outages in the immediate area. Some businesses near the location of the water main break may experience some minor discoloration in their water. If that happens, simply run the cold water tap and it should clear up in a few minutes. The City water supply system remains safe and secure.
