The Columbia Township Police Department is currently investigating a rash of larcenies from autos occurring in Columbia Township.
Four larcenies have occurred from August 17 to date, and all involved vehicles that are parked in driveways. The first known and likely related larceny occurred on Spicer Drive (off Wamplers Lake Road) on August 17. Stolen from the unlocked vehicle parked in the driveway was a credit card, which was then used at a party store in Jackson. Security footage is still being reviewed for possible images of the suspect or suspects.
Other larcenies occurred on Lakeview off Ocean Beach, in the 7900 block of Jefferson Road, and on Russmiller (off Spicer Drive). Taken in those larcenies were checkbooks, purses, and credit cards, and personal identification.

UPDATE
Attached are still shots obtained from surveillance cameras from an area business.
The male in the surveillance is wanted for questioning regarding the use of one of the stolen credit cards reported in one of the larcenies.
