Bryan Police Investigate Motorcycle Collision
On August 23, 2015 just before 8pm Officers responded to a collision involving a motorcycle in the 1500 block of San Jacinto and Sims. A 4 door car traveling Northbound in the 1500 block of Sims failed to yield right of way at the stop sign striking a motorcycle traveling West in the 1500 block of San Jacinto. The motorcycle then collided with a Dodge pickup truck. The male driver of the motorcycle was transported to St. Joseph Hospital in critical condition. There were three occupants in the 4 door car; all suffered minor injuries but have not been transported at this time. The two occupants in the Dodge truck were not injured, however, the passenger suffered a medical emergency which has placed them in critical condition and is being treated at St. Joseph Hospital.
San Jacinto has been shut down between Texas Ave and Restmeyer. They anticipate the road closure to last a few hours.
