Surf City Police Department is hosting their first ever "Fill A Cruiser" Food Drive to benefit St Francis Center Food Bank today at the Surf City Firehouse (7th & Blvd). The police car will be parked in the SCFD lot from 9am-1pm during the Farmers Market, and individuals can drop donations there. Officers are collecting everything from non-perishable food items to personal hygiene products. Any and all items donated will help local individuals and families in need.
Additionally, information on child passenger safety seats, bicycle registration, defensive driving courses, and more will be available. Be sure to stop by the PD's table and check it out.
