Fountain County-Dennis J. Hoard, 45 of Attica, IN has been arrested and charged with two counts of Child Molesting a Class C Felony in connection to allegations which were reported to have occurred between May and December of 2013.
Hoard turned himself into the Fountain County Jail on August 7th and posted a $1,500.00 bond. The investigation was conducted by Master Trooper Detective Tom Minnicus of the Indiana State Police District Investigations Division of the Lafayette Post. The investigation started when Courtney Taylor a case worker for the Indiana Department of Child Services notified Detective Minnicus of the allegations against Hoard. After about a four month investigation, warrants were issued for the arrest of Hoard. This investigation is still ongoing.
Also assisting in the investigation was the Fountain County Prosecutor’s Office and the Fountain County Sheriff’s Department.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
