Alleged Child Molester Turns Himself in to Law Enforcement
Fountain County-Daryl E. Miley, 43 of 1015 3rd Street Covington, IN, turned himself into the Fountain County Jail on a charge of Child Molesting a Level 4 felony. Miley has since posted a $2,500.00 bond and has been released from jail.
Preliminary investigation by Master Trooper Detective Tom Minnicus of the Lafayette State Police District Investigations Division has revealed he was contacted by Angelina Brouillette, a case worker for the Indiana Department of Child Services, of allegations which had occurred between the months of May and June of 2015. On July 9, 2015, a warrant was issued by the Fountain County Prosecutor’s office after Detective Minnicus concluded his investigation.
Assisting in the investigation was the Fountain County Prosecutor’s Office, Indiana Department of Child Services and the Fountain County Sheriff’s Department.
All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
