Hobart Woman Partially Ejected From Roll Over Vehicle
Lowell, Lake County-A Hobart woman was partially ejected from her vehicle when her vehicle left the I-65 and rolled over twice.
Preliminary investigation by Master Trooper Aaron Trammel revealed that at approximately 7:00 a.m., this Saturday, August 29, 2015, morning, a 2006 Dodge Durango, driven by Jasmine K. Davis, 31 of Hobart was south bound on I-65 in the right lane near the Lowell exit (240 mile marker) when for unknown reasons she lost control of her vehicle.
The Durango slide to the right, went off the roadway, and began to roll, rolling over twice coming to rest on its wheels in ditch.
Davis was partially ejected but was able to remove herself away and out of the Durango. She was not wearing her seat belt.
Davis was taken to Saint Anthony’s Hospital in Crown Point with non-life threatening injuries.
Master Trooper Trammel stated, “If she had been wearing her seat belt the seat belt would have contained her inside her own vehicle and greatly lessened any/or no injuries”.
Davis was cited for not wearing her seat belt.
