Bloomington – A three day investigation led ISP Troopers to 7088 West Eller Road southwest of Bloomington Thursday afternoon. Troopers located Nicholas Owings, 25 of Bloomington at the residence. Owings was wanted on several felony arrest warrants through Monroe County, including Burglary and Probation Violations.
Owings fled from Troopers on foot into a wooded area before being captured minutes later.
Karen Rawley, 65 of 7088 West Eller Road was also arrested for Felony Battery on an Officer, and Felony Resisting Law Enforcement by Force. Rawley was found to be a relative of Owings.
Owings was also charged with an additional 2 Counts of Resisting Law Enforcement.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
