Greene County Sheriff's Deputies investigating after a 17-year old discovers bullet holes in car
On early Thursday (09/03/15) morning, Greene County Sheriff's Deputies contacted a 17-year old female at a local high school after she discovered a bullet projectile on the floorboard of her vehicle when she arrived at the school. GCSO Deputies responded to the teenager's home where they contacted her mother in the area of the 3500 block of West Suzanne Place in southwestern Greene County.
GCSO Deputies located several shell casings outside of the home but did not locate any other damage other than to the one vehicle. Currently, GCSO Detectives are investigating the incident; at this time, there is no suspect description or suspect vehicle information available.
"We are very fortunate no one was injured in this incident," states Sheriff Jim Arnott. "It is alarming and worrisome when random acts like this occur but our Deputies are working diligently to investigate this and keep our citizens safe."
