The 37th annual Fiestas Patrias event will take place on Saturday and Sunday September 12 and 13 in the City of Santa Ana’s historic downtown. The street fair is on 4th street between French and Sycamore and is filled with food booths, great cultural merchandise, arts and culture booths, and a large main stage showcasing over fifteen performances. The headliner for the main stage on Saturday at 8 PM is Maribel Guardia and for Sunday at 7 PM is Fidel Rueda. Ms. Guardia is a singer, dancer and a well-known T.V and Film actors. Mr. Rueda increased his popularity with the release of the very popular disc entailed Paz en Este Amor, which landed his music on the Billboard charts in both the Regional Mexican Airplay and Hot Latin Tracks categories. The Fiestas Patrias 2015 fun begins at 12PM both Saturday and Sunday and ends at 10 PM.
In addition, Fiestas Patrias will include its annual parade on Sunday, September 13 from 4 to 6 PM with the parade route on Main Street starting on 15th Street and continues until it ends in the Downtown area on Santa Ana Blvd. The parade every year attracts thousands of spectators. The theme of this year’s Fiestas Patrias Parade is “Heroes and Champions of Independence.” The parade will honor the heroes that help bring independence to Mexico and celebrate the local champions in various sports. High School marching bands, horses and floats representing cultural pride from Mexico will be featured. Council Member Angelica Amezcua is a big supporter of the parade and stated, “Fiestas Patrias Parade in Santa Ana is like the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New York City. Two great cities celebrating the beauty of Culture and tradition."

FIESTA GRANDE EN EL CENTRO DE SANTA ANA
El 37o evento anual de Fiestas Patrias se llevará a cabo el sábado 12 y domingo 13 de septiembre en el centro histórico de la Ciudad de Santa Ana. El festival se llevara a cabo sobre la Calles Cuatro entre la French y Sycamore y habrá puestos de comida, diferentes mercancías culturales y artesanías. El escenario principal tendrá más de quince grandes actuaciones.
La intérprete principal del sábado a las 8pm es Maribel Guardia y para el domingo a las 7pm será Fidel Rueda. La Sra. Guardia es una cantante, bailarina y actriz muy conocida por su participación en películas y programas de televisión. El Sr. Rueda aumentó su popularidad con el lanzamiento del disco Paz en Este Amor, que llevo su música en las listas de popularidad Billboard en las categorías Regional Mexican Airplay y Hot Latin Tracks. La diversión de las Fiestas Patrias 2015 comenzaran a las 12pm el sábado y el domingo y terminan a las 10:00pm.
Además, las Fiestas Patrias incluye el desfile anual el domingo 13 de septiembre a partir de las 4 a 6pm con la ruta del desfile sobre la calle Main, comenzando en la Calle 15 y continuando hasta que termine en la zona del Centro de la ciudad sobre la Bulevar Santa Ana. El desfile cada año atrae a miles de espectadores. El tema del desfile Fiestas Patrias de este año es "Héroes y Campeones de la Independencia". El desfile es en honor a los héroes que ayudaron a traer la independencia de México y celebrar a los campeones locales en diversos deportes. Bandas escolares, desfile de caballos, y carrozas alegóricas que representan el orgullo cultural de México participaran en el desfile. Angélica Amezcua, Miembro del Ayuntamiento de la Ciudad es una gran partidaria del desfile y a dicho: "El Desfile de Fiestas Patrias en Santa Ana es como el desfile del Día de San Patricio en la Ciudad de Nueva York. Dos grandes ciudades que celebran la belleza de las culturas y las tradiciones".
