This morning around 08:50 a.m. a man was walking in a field in the 900 block of Grandys Lane and spotted a deceased man in a dry creek bed. Officers and Detectives responded and processed the scene. At this time there is no indication of foul play. The man’s body was taken by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy. Detectives will await these results before making a final determination on the cause of death.

The deceased has been identified as Lonny Lee, a 58 year old Lewisville resident. Lee’s roommate had reported him missing on Monday the 7th. The roommate advised that Lee had left Sunday morning around 09:30 a.m. to walk to his pharmacy located on FM 407, to pick up medications. The reporting officer checked the routes that he believed Lee might have taken and was unable to locate him. The pharmacy was closed Monday due to Labor Day.
