Please join the Windsor Heights Fire and Police Departments on Friday, September 11th at 8:45 a.m. in the front of the Public Safety Building located at 1133 66th St.
Staff will share in the remembrance of 2,977 victims who were killed in the September 11, 2001 attacks; 411 victims were emergency workers who responded to the World Trade Center.
Chief McDaniel will offer a few brief remarks near the static display of emergency equipment followed by:
 8:58 a.m. a shared moment of silence prior to the collapse of the first tower
 8:59 a.m. ringing of the bell signifying the first loss of public safety responders in the collapse of the south tower
 9:00 a.m. conclusion of ceremony
