Advisory

Heat Advisory in effect through tomorrow.

The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory for our area through tomorrow evening.

Heat Advisory remains in effect until 7 pm pdt this evening.

Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11 am to 7 pm pdt
Thursday...

* Timing: temperatures will rapidly warm through the late
morning hours and peak during the early afternoon.
Temperatures will then gradually cool late in the afternoon
and into the evening.

* Temperatures: maximum temperatures in these locations will warm
into mid 80s to mid 90s a few miles inland from the coast with
mid 90s to around 105 well inland.

A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
expected. These temperatures will create a situation in which
heat illnesses are possible. When possible...reschedule strenuous
activities and outdoor work to the early morning or late evening.
Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.
It is very important to keep oneself properly hydrated with water
and stay out of the direct sun. never leave children...pets...the
elderly or disabled in vehicles...even for short periods of time.
