Odon Man Arrested on Numerous Methamphetamine Charges
Daviess County (Odon): A Wednesday night drug investigation ended with an Odon man behind bars on multiple narcotics charges.
Around 10:20 P.M., Trooper Mitchell Wier, with Odon Town Marshall Scottie Noble and Washington Police Officer Brandon Garland, arrived at 205 North West Street in Odon on a report of possible drug activity at the residence. Officers spoke with the homeowner, John S. Brock, 54. During the course of their investigation, officers were given consent to search the residence and property for illegal items. Officers found numerous items, including methamphetamine, precursors to manufacture methamphetamine, two homemade smoking devices, and Xanex pills (Schedule IV Controlled Substance). The Indiana State Police Methamphetamine Suppression Section assisted in the collection of the evidence.
Brock was placed into custody without incident and lodged in the Daviess County Security Center.
