Low Cost Rabies Vaccination & Dog Licensing Clinic

In recognition of World Rabies Day the City of Corona Animal Services & Enforcement will hold a Low-Cost Rabies Vaccination & Dog Licensing Clinic on Saturday, October 3, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. This event will be held at the new Animal Services & Shelter facility which is located at 1330 Magnolia Ave., Corona CA 92879, approximately one block east of the I-15 freeway.

Rabies is a virus that is transmissible from animals to humans. Every year approximately 60,000 people die from the deadly disease. The most common method of contracting rabies is from an animal bite. To reduce the risk of infection, the State of California requires that all dogs over the age of four months be vaccinated against rabies. Local government agencies utilize Dog Licensing programs to encourage and track rabies vaccination in domestic dogs, and to notify pet owners in the rare case that a vaccine batch proves to be defective.

Vaccination Fees: $6 PER DOG (CASH ONLY) **NO CATS ALLOWED**

Veterinarian: Dr. Farrar, DVM - Animal Hospital of Eagle Glen

Special Instructions: Cats are not permitted at the clinic. All dogs must be on a leash and under the control of a responsible adult. If dogs have been altered, please bring proof of sterility certificate and save money on the cost of your dog’s license.

Late Fees: Late fees will be waived for all expired or delinquent dog licenses that are brought current during the month of October 2015.
