On 09/15/2015 just after 5:30 pm, Steuben County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a residence in the 4600 block of W CR 100 S near Silver Lake attempting to execute an arrest warrant. Deputies were seeking 21 year old Andrea May Parker of Angola on a warrant charging Parker with misdemeanor theft. When Deputies were invited into the residence by the property owner, Parker was subsequently located in the basement area. While taking Parker into custody, deputies observed some items commonly associated with the use and manufacture of Methamphetamine. Sheriff’s detectives were called to the scene to assist in the investigation and a subsequent search warrant was obtained. During the search of the residence, numerous items commonly associated with the manufacturing of Methamphetamine were located including at least 3 active one pot reaction vessels. Several small bags containing what appeared to be Methamphetamine were also located. Parker was also charged with manufacturing Methamphetamine, and level 5 felony and possession of Methamphetamine, a level 6 felony in addition to the misdemeanor arrest warrant. She remains held in the in Steuben County Jail without bond pending an initial court appearance. Another wanted person 25 year old Cheyanne Lee Kerns of Angola was also located inside the residence and taken into custody on an arrest warrant charging Kerns with possession of Methamphetamine, a level 5 felony. Kerns remains held in the Steuben County Jail in lieu of $13,500.00 bond. The case still remains under investigation and additional charges may be sought. Assisting the Sheriff’s Office were the Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team, the Angola Fire Department, and the Steuben County Health Department
