Annual Fall Clean Up-Details on the October 1 and October 2 Cleanup

HOISINGTON'S ANNUAL FALL CLEAN-UP
OCTOBER 1 & 2, 2015

The Annual Fall Clean-Up will be October 1 & 2, 2015. Residents should place items on their front curb no more than two days prior to their regular day of trash pickup. Customers must be on trash service to participate.

All items to be picked up must be curbside. Because of landfill regulations piles must be sorted or they will not be picked up.

Items to be picked up must be in bags, boxes or tied up as appropriate.

Items thrown on the ground loose will not be picked up.

Please sort items as follows:
Carpet (tied up)
Mattresses
Furniture, plastic/fiberglass materials.
Electronic waste (computers, monitors, TV’s, stereos, microwaves, etc.)
Appliances, scrap metal and items constructed of metal. There will be a $25 charge for any appliance containing Freon. If the appliance is labeled with a “Freon capture tag” from a qualified contractor there will be no charge for collection.
Tires, with and without rims. There will be a fee for tire pickup.

Stutzman Refuse Disposal Inc. will not pick up:
Hazardous waste, tree limbs, rocks, bricks or other yard waste.
Construction materials, lumber, roofing materials, wood products, drywall/plaster or insulation.
