HOMICIDE UPDATE 
On September 19, at approximately 01:30 AM, a 23 year old male was killed in a bar in downtown Davis. On the evening of September 19, 2015, Davis police detectives served search warrants in the city of Vacaville. Officers arrested Martin Contreras (25 year old male Vacaville resident) on homicide charges. The arrest took place without incident, and Contreras was subsequently booked into the Yolo County Jail.
Detectives continue to actively investigate this case and are looking for additional suspects. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call the Davis Police Department investigations unit at 530-747-5400.
