Another hot day is forecast for inland locations today with widespread mid 90s to lower 100s forecast. Coastal spots will see some cooling as the onshore flow increases later today.
Persons sensitive to heat such as the elderly and those on certain medications should plan accordingly and put a plan in place now to prepare for the upcoming hot weather.
Anyone working outdoors or planning outdoor activities should drink plenty of fluids and schedule activities early or late in the day if possible. Also remember, children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles!
