Pap Smear/Mammo Screening Thursday, Oct 8. FREE for women who qualify!
A mammography is an x-ray of the breast that is used to detect and evaluate breast changes. The American Cancer Society recommends women age 40 years and over have a mammography every year. Women in their 20’s and 30’s should have a clinical breast exam at least every 3 years.
Early detection of cervical cancer can be done through a pap smear. The American Cancer Society recommends women age 21 through 65 years have a pap smear at least every 3 years. It is recommended that women over age 65 years may stop cervical cancer screening as long as they had regular screenings and was not diagnosed with any serious pre-cancers.

Pap Smear is FREE to Uninsured or Underinsured women age 21 and over;
Mammography is FREE to Uninsured or Underinsured women age 40 and over;
Clinical Breast Exam is FREE to Uninsured or Underinsured women age 21 through 39
Income requirements must also be met
