Drug-Take-Back a success
Investigator Scott Nations and Reserve Deputy Jeff Perkins was on hand at CVS Pharmacy in Pulaski this last Saturday September 26, 2015 for the drug-take-back program. The Sheriff's Department collected 263 pounds of unwanted or expired medications and turned them over to the Drug Enforcement Agency for proper disposal. If you was unable to make it to the event and have unwanted or expired medications excluding liquids and needles you can bring them to the Sheriff's Department Lobby Monday through Friday 7:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. and place them in our secure repository for safe and proper disposal. This repository was donated to the Sheriff's Department by CVS Pharmacy as a way to help rid the community of dangerous and unwanted medications in a safe manner.
