PORTSMOUTH DETECTIVES NEED ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING MISSING MAN
Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Department’s Special Victims Unit are asking for the public’s help in locating 87 year-old Christopher C. Pierce of Portsmouth. According to detectives, Pierce was last seen this morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. before driving away in his vehicle. Pierce suffers from a medical condition and is dependent upon medication, which he does not have with him. Pierce has also been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
Christopher Pierce is a light skinned black male standing approximately 5’2” tall and weighing 240 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Pierce was last seen wearing khaki pants and a white shirt with brown stripes, and driving a silver 1996 4-door Lincoln Towne Car with Virginia handicapped license plates bearing the numbers 315883.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of Christopher Pierce is asked to call the Portsmouth Police Department at (757) 393-5300 or the Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP℠. Callers who call the crime line are never asked to give their name or testify in court. If their information leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
