09/01/2015- 9254 Main St- Damaged Property – The victim reported that an unknown subject caused damage to the door on the north side of the building. There are no witnesses and no leads on the subjects responsible.
09/03/2015- 60 North Territorial – Armed Robbery- The victim reports that an unknown suspect entered the business and demanded money while showing the victim he had a gun. The victim stated he observed the gun and did what he was told to do. The suspect fled on foot and was not seen again. The case is an ongoing investigation. 09/04/2015- 7000 Block of Nollar Rd- Larceny of ATV- The victim reports that an unknown subject entered his property near his pole barn and stole a 4x4 ATV. There are no suspects and the case is an ongoing investigation.
09/08/2015- 9000 Block of Pine Cove – Larceny from Auto– The victim reports that an unknown subject(s) removed all four tires from their vehicle during the night time hours.
09/15/2015 9000 Block of Hillcrest- Home Invasion– The victim reports that an unknown subject(s) entered their home while they were away. The subjects stole several pieces of jewelry along with various tools. The case is being investigated by the responding Officer
09/15/2015 – 300 Block of Six Mile Rd-. Retail Fraud– A subject walks into Speedway and places two gallons of Truck Oil on the counter and tried to return them for cash from the clerk. The subject was asked for his receipt and he could not provide one. The subject picked up the oil and walked out of the store. When the store manager observed what happened he ran outside to see the subject leaving the area in a white Porsche. The case is being handled by the department investigator.
During the first two weeks of September officers responded to 253 Calls for Service. The Northfield Township Police Department has made 109 arrests year to date.
