Bloomington Man Arrested, Charged with Several Drug Related Felonies
Bloomington – Just after 10 o’clock yesterday evening, the Indiana State Police Drug Task Force arrested Labrice Doty, 39 of Bloomington after working an ongoing criminal investigation in which Doty was the focus. A search warrant executed in the area of North Walnut Street on Wednesday evening revealed over 50 grams of crystal methamphetamine, paraphernalia, digital scales, packaging supplies and a stolen handgun.
Doty was taken to the Monroe County Jail on one count of each of the following charges:
1) Dealing in Methamphetamine over 28 grams with a Firearm, a Level 2 Felony
2) Dealing in Methamphetamine between 1 and 5 grams with a Firearm, a Level 3 Felony
3) Possession of Methamphetamine over 28 grams with a Firearm, a Level 3 Felony
4) Maintaining a Common Nuisance, a Level 6 Felony.
Doty is also being held for out of county warrants as well.
