We had a two vehicle traffic collision on Beverly St. behind Golden Corral. One of the vehicles careened off toward the inlaid transformer and knocked it completely off of its base. The vehicle then struck the transformer and caught fire. There may be some minor damage to the Golden Corral building but it doesn't appear that it ever caught fire. One of the drivers was taken away in an ambulance with unknown injuries. Power was lost to several of the tracks of homes to the east of the accident. Golden Corral has said that they hope to be open for dinner.
