This Week Is National Fire Prevention Week
Every year fires have a devastating effect on families and individuals within our community. Many of these fires can be prevented with some basic safety measures.
This week the Maricopa Fire Department will be highlighting several safety measures that follow this year’s National Fire Prevention Week theme:
“Hear the Beep, Where you Sleep”.
Keeping your family safe with a working smoke alarm in every bedroom.
Since today is the first day of Fire Prevention Week, this is a great time to inspect your smoke detectors, switch out the batteries, and look at the manufacture date. If your smoke detectors are over 10 years old, it is time to replace your detectors.
