The 43rd annual Long Beach Island Commemorative 18 Mile Run will be held Sunday, October 11th, 2015. The race begins in Holgate and spans the entire length of LBI. The section of Long Beach Boulevard that runs through Surf City will be closed from approximately 11:00am - 1:00pm to vehicle traffic to ensure the safety of all those running the event. During this time, vehicles will be detoured onto Central Avenue.
Please use extra caution when traveling on Long Beach Island on Sunday and allow extra time to get to your destination.
