Aurora University will be hosting a Criminal Justice Cohort in the Montgomery Police Department's Community Room, starting in January 2016. This cohort is for law enforcement professionals from throughout the Fox Valley and beyond. MPD will be hosting Aurora University in our Community Room for three Open House sessions if any interested individuals would like to check out the space, and meet with an AU academic advisor in person:
• Monday, October 12th from 10am - noon
• Wednesday, October 21st from noon - 2pm
• Thursday, October 29th from 2pm - 4pm
Here are some of the program specifics:
• Eight Semester hours (two courses) will be granted to Law Enforcement professionals that have completed a state-certified police academy, and two years of post-academy police experience.
• Classes meet one night each week for eight weeks.
• Criminal Justice courses offered onsite at Montgomery Police Department's Community Room.
• Expert faculty consists of experienced criminal justice professionals.
• Classes start the week of January 11, 2016 (specific night TBD)
