***REMINDER***- New Traffic Pattern Route 72 / Causeway Bridge Project 
***JUST A REMINDER FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK***
On or about October 12, 2015 East and Westbound Route 72 will be reduced from 4 lanes of travel to 1 lane east and 1 lane west between milepost 27.5 - 28.1 (Causeway Marina - Ship Bottom)
Starting October 19th, the remainder of the bridge will be reduced to 1 lane in either direction.
Pedestrians and Bicyclists
The north side of the bridge will be undergoing demolition which will close and remove the sidewalk, closing it to pedestrian traffic.
A temporary shuttle service will be implemented during the time frame the North side sidewalk is closed and unavailable for pedestrians.
Once a shuttle service is established Stafford and Long Beach Island Townships will be notified of the shuttle stop locations along with the operational time schedule.
The North side sidewalk WILL NOT be closed until said shuttle service has been established and operational.
At the completion of the project the shuttle service will be discontinued and the sidewalk reopened.
Project duration is expected to last until Spring.
Work schedule is weather dependent and the start date may be postponed.
