This past weekend several attempted entries to homes occurred on the south end of town, all during the night season. 
During this past weekend, several attempted entries to homes during the night season occurred from the night of October 9th to the morning of October 10th. Homes were located on Parkview Ave, Mercedes Ave, Westhaven Lane and Idlewild Dr. All incidents were very similar in nature, screens to windows and doors were cut and or removed, entry was then attempted. In addition several unlocked autos were entered and property removed.
This is a trend that we are seeing in numerous west side suburbs. We are asking that if you see anything that looks out of the ordinary that you please contact the Rocky River Police Department and report it immediately.
