Suspicious activity leads to felony burglary arrest
On 10-11-15, at 2034 hrs, Officers with the Wichita Falls Police Department were conducting directive patrol when they observed a male running in the 2700 blk of Ave I. The male was wearing a back pack and was dressed in a white shirt and jeans. Officers suspected he was engaged in some type of criminal activity or had just fled after committing a crime. They attempted to stop him for failing to use the sidewalk where provided. The suspect continued running and officers lost sight of the him. A citizen notified officers during the search and told them his vehicle had just been burglarized at residence in the 2300 Buchanan. The suspect description matched the person the officers were looking for. Additional officers arrived on scene and assisted in the search for the suspect. Approximately 20 minutes after the initial chase, the suspect was located hiding under some bushes at a residence in the 1800 blk of Grant St. The suspect was taken into custody and identified as Bo Billen 11-01-1995. He was transported to jail for Possession of Marijuana, Evading Arrest, and Felony burglary of a vehicle.
