Jasper: A Jasper man was arrested today after Troopers followed up on information they received about possible illegal drug activity.
Around 12:56 P.M., Trooper Brock Werne and Master Trooper Brian Laroche met with Travis Jones, 24, at his residence at 705 East 15th Street, Jasper. Troopers received information earlier in the morning that there was possible drug use occurring at the residence. After speaking with Jones, Troopers searched areas in the back yard, locating a hypodermic needle and other drug paraphernalia.
Jones was placed into custody and lodged, without incident, in the Dubois County Security Center.
