Lakewood Station Detectives Arrest Robbery Suspect, @LKDLASD 
On Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at approximately 3 p.m., an armed suspect approached woman in the 15100 block of Gundry Avenue in the city of Paramount and attempted to rob her of her property. The victim managed to fight off the suspect. The suspect then ran from the location. Later the same armed suspect attempted to rob another woman of her property in 14000 block of McClure Avenue in the city of Paramount. Moments later after the attempt robberies occurred, a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department helicopter spotted the suspect near the 105 freeway overpass, and with the help of assisting ground units the suspect was arrested.
Deputies found and recovered a handgun in the vicinity of where the suspect was detained.
The suspect is a male Black in his 20’s, wearing a black t-shirt a graphic design on the front and dark colored shorts.
