October 16, 2015
On October 13th, 2015 at approximately 8am, the Winhall Police Department was dispatched to the Mountain School at Winhall, located at 9 School Road, for a report of a break in.
Patricia Stanley, the Head of School, had arrived at work to find that the front doors of the school had been breached and the door to the main office was damaged due to forced entry. Stolen from the school were some clothing merchandise that was being used for a fundraiser, and some cash. Winhall Police are working with the Vermont State Police as there have been recent burglaries at the Floodbrook Union School in Londonderry and the Windham School that may have been committed by the same individual(s).

A back window on the residence had been smashed with a rock and the perpetrator(s) entered the building through the broken window but were gone before the police arrived. It is believed that 2 bottles of liquor were stolen from the house.
The Winhall Police Department is actively investigating these burglaries. Anyone with any information is asked to call the Winhall Police at 802-297-2121.
