Red, Purple, White or Yellow.............We are talking about Fire Hydrants!
It does not matter what color the hydrants is painted.
No person shall stop, park, or leave standing any vehicle within 15 feet of a fire hydrant except if the vehicle is attended by a licensed driver who is seated in the front seat and who can immediately move such vehicle in case of necessity.
In addition, the curb does NOT need to be painted red for a violation.
Often times, this violation occurs in our school zones at drop off/pick up times. When parking check to see that you're clear of any fire hydrants.
