UPDATE: BOND AMOUNT UPDATED ON STABBING ARREST.
On October 22, 2015, Deputies responded to 2340 Lewisburg Highway in reference to a female that had been stabbed in the abdomen. The victim was transported to Southern Tennessee Regional Hospital by Giles County Emergency Medical Services. Victim was then transported to Vanderbilt Hospital via Life flight helicopter. After investigators arrived at the scene and were able to question the victim, it was determined that Mr. Nathan Derek Frazier was the alleged perpetrator. The victim and other witnesses observed Mr. Nathan Derek Frazier absconded into the near woods. Giles County Sheriff’s Department established a perimeter with assistance of Tennessee Highway Patrol. During the course of the Search Sgt. David Robertson and Officer Evan Gaskin with Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency observed Mr. Frazier in the woods and was able to take Mr. Frazier into custody without incident. Mr. David Frazier was transported to Giles County Sheriff’s Department and charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and Aggravated Domestic Assault. Frazier remains in the Giles County Jail with bond set at $250,000
