South Pasadena PD assists Pasadena PD in Capture of Carjacking Suspect 
On 10-25-15 at about 8 pm, South Pasadena PD officers assisted Pasadena PD officers in the apprehension of a carjacking suspect. The suspect committed his crime in Pasadena and fled into South Pasadena. An alert South Pasadena patrol officer spotted the suspect near the Arroyo Seco Golf Course and pursued him on foot. The suspect fled into a residential area near Hawthorne Street and Indiana Avenue. He traversed several backyards before being apprehended by officers. Due to the quick responses by both South Pasadena and Pasadena PD officers and the phone calls by vigilant residents alerting us to the suspect's location, a dangerous criminal was taken off the streets.
