10/04/2015- 8000 Block of Winters Lane- Damaged Property – The victim reported that an unknown subject damaged their mailbox. No witnesses and no suspects.

10/08/2015- 9589 Main St- Fraud- The victim reports that a subject came into the store and cashed a check that turned out to be fake. The subject had cashed a check one day prior at the same location. The case is an ongoing investigation.

10/10/2015 9885 Main St- Fraud- The victim reports that a man came into the store and asked for change for a $50 bill. While counting the money the subject kept distracting the clerk and the clerk believes the suspect swindled him out of at least $50. The case is currently under investigation.

10/11/2015- 9000 Block of Lincoln – Larceny- The victim reports that an unknown individual stole her green mailbox. There are no witnesses or suspects regarding co

10/15/2015- 200 Block of Diamond Cir- Home Invasion- The victim reports that an unknown individual entered her home while she was at work and stole several pieces of jewelry. The case is being investigated by the responding Officer. There are no suspects.

During the first two weeks of October, officers responded to 194 Calls for Service. The Northfield Township Police Department has made 125 arrests year to date.

The Northfield Township Police wish for all citizens to have a safe and enjoyable Halloween weekend. The recommended Halloween times for trick-or-treating are from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
